The English Dulcimer Duo are Sue Harris & Lisa Warburton, firm favourites as tutors & performers at The World Dulcimer Congress & Halsway Manor. Sue has played dulcimer over the years with many top performers including John Kirkpatrick, her own band Polkaworks, & in the theatre including with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Sue & Lisa's instruments complement each other.
The workshop will cover exploring the instrument, jolly technical exercises, learning rounds for listening/playing together, finding harmonies to enhance English/Welsh tunes. We aim to be inclusive (beginners to advanced catered for: a few instruments available for loan on first come, first served basis.
